Susan was born in North Vancouver and raised in Dundarave, West Vancouver as Susan Joy Hughes. She attended Irwin Park Elementary and graduated from Hillside Secondary in 1978. Susan loves the outdoors including boating, hiking, snowshoeing, all-weather walker and more. An avid hiker of the local & international mountains and trails, Susan has achieved Everest Base via the Khumbu Trail in Nepalese Himalaya, Macchu Picchu via the Inca Trail, Juan de Fuca Trail, Kalalau Trail, the Lions, Joffre Lakes, Mount St. Helen's and many more spectacular pursuits!
Susan completed the Canadian Power Squadron Boating course in 2005. When she's not out on the trails or off selling houses, Susan participates in local community initiatives including participating in the Realtor's Care Blanket Drive.
